Who can request a mail ballot?
No excuse is needed to vote absentee in Georgia.
To request an absentee ballot in Georgia, complete a PDF application and deliver it to your local county registration office via mail, fax, email, or in person. The application must include your original, non-digital signature if submitted by mail. If submitting the application via email or fax, a scanned version of the signature is sufficient. An online absentee ballot request tool is now also available.

To return your Georgia absentee ballot, return it by mail or in person to your county registrar’s office. County elections officials will have the option to install ballot drop boxes for the November general election, in addition to receiving ballots by mail.
